GMXSteering™, integrated with RigMinder Criterion™ directional bit guidance, is real-time well trajectory advisor with RTOC steering support designed to improve the placement of the wellbore and frac stages for enhanced production. GMXSteering, integrated with RigMinder Criterion, helps you land and stay in the optimal drilling zone.

Using EDR data, GMXSteering calculates and projects the best wellbore for production, providing important data points on the rock formations such as:

  • Log traces of CCS, UCS
  • Pore Pressure
  • ShMin, ShMax (hi and low)
  • Young’s Modulus
  • Poissons Ratio
  • Shear Ratio
  • Stress Brittleness
  • Fracture Density in EDR database for plotting, reporting and input into fracture modeling software
GMX Data Model

GMXSteering produces a reservoir model of rock mechanical properties, (differential) stresses and natural fracture density derived from pre-post stack seismic and/or petrophysical log and/or drilling data, including LOT data. The reservoir model can be used to optimize wellbore placement for optimal production and stimulation for all wells to be drilled in the reservoir volume processed. The model is updated with each real-time steering job for improved results from well to well.
