The MPU serves as a central collection point for all sensor data acquired around the rig and is where all data is logged and transmitted throughout the rig site via Site Wide Wi-Fi. The MPU also serves as the communication hub for the Satellite control system and Class I Div. II phone system. The MPU comes in a military grade enclosure and can be installed in the Toolpush shack or the VFD house.
Pits, Pumps and Temperatures
The PPT POD is used for the collection and processing of data from mud pits, trip tanks, pumps and temperature sensors. This self-contained unit can be run independently or as part of a full EDR system. Information that is processed within the PPT Pod is wirelessly transmitted to the MPU through the use of the Site Wide Wi-Fi.
Drilling sensor pod
The Depth Pod monitors Measured Depth, Bit Depth, ROP Weight on Bit, Block Height, Hook Load, Top Drive, and Sensor dis-connect warnings. This self-contained unit can be run independently or as part of a full EDR system. Information that is processed within the depth Pod can be transmitted via Ethernet to the MPU or wirelessly through the Site Wide Wi-Fi.
Rig Floor Pod
The Rig Floor Pos monitors data from the rig floor sensors such as Stand Pipe Pressure, Flow Line Sensor, TopDrive functionality. RPM, and Torque. This Pod can be expanded to monitor any number of other sensors at the customer’s request. This self-contained unit can be run independently or as part of a full EDR system. Information that is processed within the Rig Floor Pod can be transmitted via Ethernet to the MPU or wirelessly through the Site Wide Wi-Fi.
This wireless system consists of 3 towers that are strategically placed around the rig site to provide early detection of LEL and H2S. Each tower comes complete with 2 gas sensors, one control unit, solar panel, long life battery back up, red and amber warning lights, and loud hailer. This system is easily expandable upon request.
This Level Transmitter provides non-contact measurement of liquid levels. Measurement is acquired by a focused ultrasonic beam without any moving parts. It features an LCD inside a Class 1 Division 1 enclosure.

The pump stroke counter monitors strokes per minute, total strokes and cumulative strokes of a pump. These sensors come in either a non-contact inductive model, proximity, or a lever arm (depending on the application).
Stainless steel paddle and sensor is installed in the flow line, and measures volume and velocity of drilling fluid coming out of the well bore.
The Rotary Encoder is adaptable to most draw works and accurately monitors drum revolutions, enabling tracking of block height and drill bit depth.
The Standpipe Sensor measures standpipe pressure and comes in different pressure ratings. The Sensor is equipped with the mating hammer union for easy installation.
Affordable, functional monitoring of up to 5 engines simultaneously provides peace of mind against engine failures by alarming oil temp/pressure and engine coolant temp. Full featured package consisting of magnetically mountable box that plugs directly into the engine’s ECU (Will Not Void Engine Warranty). The Engine Monitoring system integrates with the Site Wide Wi-Fi to broadcast data live. Any number of customer specifiable parameters can be monitored such as RPM, Oil and Coolant Temperatures, Oil Pressure, Engine Hours, Fuel Rate, Fuel Level and Voltage. The software that is supplied with the Engine Monitoring package provides maintenance scheduling and alarms. Once the data is collected it can either be decoded by the RigMinder T-RX or with the RigMinder Engine Software. The T-RX provides a solid-state means of turning the engine data into usable WITS feed that any number of programs can accept.
